UX Designer Consultant

On-site -Lansing, MI 

Duration: 6 Month contract

• 15+ years of experience in Product/UX Design with strong expertise in human-centered design, usability, and user experience strategy across digital products.
• Proven experience translating user research and insights into personas, journey maps, task flows, use cases, and actionable design strategies that drive product direction.
• Strong background in user research, usability analysis, user testing, and product usage analysis, using data and feedback to continuously improve customer experiences.
• Experience collaborating with software engineers and cross-functional teams to define user flows, interaction patterns, and end-to-end experiences that are both user-friendly and technically feasible.
• Strong understanding of accessibility, inclusive design, UX best practices, and design consistency, with excellent communication skills and a focus on user adoption and business outcomes. Utilities industry experience preferred.
