SC/DV Cleared Virtualisation & Platform Engineer

Location: London - 2-3 days per week onsite
Rate: Up to £625 per day Outside IR35
Contract Length: 6-month contract
Clearance: Active SC or DV Clearance required

I'm looking for an experienced Virtualisation & Platform Engineer to support and maintain complex, highly secure, business-critical infrastructure environments

You'll be responsible for designing, deploying and supporting enterprise virtualisation and platform solutions, with a particular focus on automation, modern infrastructure technologies and platform engineering.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with VMware vCenter and vSAN
• Experience supporting Omnissa/VMware Horizon VDI
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory and Group Policy experience
• Python development and Scripting experience, ideally within infrastructure or platform environments
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerised platforms
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation, using technologies such as Terraform, PowerShell or PowerCLI
• Experience designing and supporting secure, resilient and highly available infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting skills across complex infrastructure and platform environments
