Job Description: Systems Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to evaluate business requirements, analyze existing systems, and recommend technology solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure business needs are translated into effective system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and QA teams to deliver system solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows, and system documentation.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate system functionality.
• Identify system issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support system implementation, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Assist in project planning, change management, and stakeholder communication.
• Provide end-user support and training as needed.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of system analysis and business process mapping.
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of software testing and UAT processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and documentation tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or a similar role.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, or Agile certifications) are an advantage.
