Technology and Data - Systems Architect 4 - Contingent

Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Data Analytics & AI Automation professional. This individual will translate business requirements into actionable insights, automated reporting solutions, and AI-powered productivity tools. The ideal candidate will serve as a key partner to business leaders by building scalable reporting solutions, automating manual processes, and leveraging modern AI capabilities to drive operational efficiency and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Architecture.
• Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Systems Architect challenges.
• Design, develop, and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Build Python-based automation solutions for reporting, reconciliation, data transformation, and workflow optimization.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering techniques, vector databases, and RAG architectures.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to improve business processes.
• Engage directly with senior leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into data and AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of Systems Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. This includes experience in business intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or automation.

Technical Skills:

• Expert-level Power BI development experience (DAX, Data modeling, Power Query).
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query and Pivot Tables.
• Strong Python programming experience for data processing, automation, and API integrations.
• Experience working with SQL and enterprise data platforms.
• Proficiency with Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Generative AI platforms and LLMs.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, LangChain, or AutoGen.
• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience implementing intelligent automation solutions in financial services or large enterprise environments.
• Experience with VBA/Macros.
