Air Conditioning Service Engineer Location: Field Based with occasional visits to the Stourbridge office<br />Salary: £46,000 Basic (Negotiable for an exceptional candidate) + Overtime<br />Benefits: Company Vehicle, Private Healthcare, Pension, 26 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Paid Birthday Leave We are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established HVAC business. The role will involve carrying out planned maintenance, reactive call-outs, fault finding and repairs across a range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. This is a field-based position offering a varied workload, excellent support and genuine long-term career prospects. Key Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown attendance
- Fault diagnosis and repairs
- Air conditioning and refrigeration servicing
- Site surveys and condition assessments
- Assisting with commissioning and handovers
- Producing detailed service reports
- Supporting junior engineers when required
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and F-Gas regulations Experience & Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration industry
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic experience
- Experience working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems, heat pumps and chillers
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good communication and customer-facing skills Desirable IPAF PASMA CSCS SSSTS or SMSTS IOSH Managing Safely Manufacturer training (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, LG, Toshiba, Panasonic etc.) Salary & Benefits £46,000 Basic Salary Negotiable for an exceptional candidate Paid Overtime Company Vehicle Mobile Phone, Tablet & Laptop Private Healthcare Company Pension Scheme Ongoing Training & Development 26 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays Paid Birthday Leave Travel & Overtime The salary includes a reasonable daily travel expectation, typically between 30 minutes and 1 hour each way depending on your location. For example, if your working hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm (with a one-hour lunch break), leaving home at 7:00am and returning home at 6:00pm would generally fall within your salaried hours. Any travel or working time beyond the agreed travel allowance will be paid as overtime
