Controls Technician, Data Center Capacity Delivery | Marysville, OH, United States | On-site | $30.00 - $54.00 USD hourly

The Role
- Participate in the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of building management systems (BMS) and electrical power monitoring systems (EPMS) within data center facilities.
- Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation associated with BMS and EPMS, including verification, configuration, and calibration of field devices.
- Conduct point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers, and perform network configurations and communication testing.
- Supervise low voltage electrical contractors during wiring and installation, and provide commissioning and systems level testing support.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel drawings, with a basic understanding of industrial control functions.
- Assist in root cause analysis, provide drawing recommendations, and ensure adherence to safety methodologies.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of industrial controls and automation experience, or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
- 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
- Basic understanding of industrial control systems, including meters, sensors, relays, and troubleshooting using standard tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotations and overtime, and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Experience with reading electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
- Familiarity with common industrial communication protocols like MQTT, BACnet, and/or Modbus is a plus.
