Job Description

EMS Unlimited is a paramedic-owned ambulance and medical transport company providing ALS, BLS, and Critical Care Transport across Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Arizona, Georgia, and Montana. Not to mention our national wildfire and disaster response team, plus other special projects that occur on a national scale. We operate on our values; on family, teamwork, optimism, and pride.

The company was founded in 2012, started in a garage by a Paramedic. Since that time we have grown to be a leader in serving our team across multiple regions and projects - and we are not done.

Omaha's Station 137 opened in November 2025. It's a station with a strong foundation: ALS and critical care units, a fleet where the trucks have names (Sarge, Smokey, Grace, Bandit, Benji), and a crew still writing its own traditions.

Run the station. Shape the culture. Grow with us!

Our first Station Lead built Station 137. Now she's heading home to the Pacific Northwest, and we're looking for the person who takes it from here and continues our tradition of excellence.

This is not a desk job with a radio. You'll lead the team and set the tone for positive, values driven culture and work ethic. You'll make the schedule, monitor supplies, read and QA charts, and be the person your team trusts.

You will be supported by an assistant, a great team that's already in place, plus a support network of peers and other leaders.

What you'll do:
- Lead and develop a team of paramedics and EMTs
- Own station readiness: units, equipment, schedule, and standards
- Build relationships with Omaha-area hospitals and facilities
- Work directly with our founder and the leadership team
- Help decide what Station 137 becomes next, including growth in Nebraska

- Must be a culture champion and proven leader
- Licensed (or able to be licensed) in Nebraska
- Experience in ALS; critical care transport experience (CCT-P or CCP) is a plus
- Someone your peers already follow, with or without a title
- Calm under pressure, direct when it counts, and warm every other time

You'll have real autonomy, real support, and a seat at the table while the station grows.

This will be a salary position with full benefits - Medical/Dental/Vision plus 401k with company matching. Education, wellness and uniform pay is also part of the total rewards package!

All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
