Technical Project Manager - I

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead medium to complex technology initiatives within a cross-functional environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, technical knowledge of enterprise integration services, and the ability to effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholder groups. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, driving project execution, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage medium to complex technical projects from initiation through completion Coordinate cross-functional project teams and assign project tasks to team members Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations Track project milestones and adjust plans or resources as needed to ensure successful delivery Oversee project communications with stakeholders ranging from technical subject matter experts to executive leadership Identify and manage cross-project dependencies to establish priorities and ensure alignment Detect project risks early and implement appropriate mitigation and response strategies Guide project issues to resolution and escalate obstacles when necessary Support or oversee the development of business requirements aligned with project objectives Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with organizational goals Conduct meetings, facilitate discussions, and deliver formal project presentations Collaborate with technical and business teams to support project implementation and operational success Perform additional project management duties as assigned Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of project management experience managing medium to complex projects Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management training Strong technical aptitude with system and process analysis experience Experience with application integration technologies and services including: Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Messaging Broker File Transfer solutions Platform as a Service (PaaS) Experience with technologies such as: IBM IIB MQ Axway Secure Transfer Connect:Direct IBM Sterling File Gateway IBM Control Center IBM Sterling Secure Proxy Strong business acumen and communication skills Ability to coordinate and collaborate with diverse groups of subject matter experts Strong analytical, leadership, critical thinking, multitasking, and time management skills Ability to work independently and within team-oriented environments Ability to influence stakeholders within matrixed or virtual organizations Willingness to travel up to 10% as required Preferred Qualifications Experience working in enterprise integration and middleware environments Experience leading technical infrastructure or application integration projects Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies Education: Bachelors Degree Certification: Project Management Professional
