Senior .Net Engineer - Frisco

A global technology organization is hiring senior-level architects to join a newly established engineering hub in Frisco, Texas. This full-time role focuses on designing and scaling modern, cloud-based applications using C#/.NET, Angular, and Microsoft Azure within a highly impactful public-sector environment.
This is a unique opportunity to join a founding team that will define technical direction, engineering standards, and team culture for a brand-new office. The organization is modernizing large-scale, high-traffic applications used across statewide systems and is investing heavily in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems. Ideal candidates are those who enjoy hands-on architecture work, mentoring engineers, and building scalable solutions that directly support critical infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with C# / .NET development
• Frontend experience with Angular (React is acceptable)
• Hands-on experience with Azure (including Azure Functions)
• Proven background in designing distributed systems and microservices
• Experience in software architecture and system design
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and business teams

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with government systems, DMV platforms, or transportation systems
• Familiarity with AAMVA or NMVTIS systems
• Prior experience modernizing legacy applications
• Leadership or mentorship experience within engineering teams

What You Will Be Doing

• Architect and design scalable, cloud-first applications
• Define system design best practices and engineering standards
• Collaborate with development teams to guide implementation
• Support modernization efforts of large, legacy platforms

• 50% Backend (.NET / C#)

Daily Responsibilities

• 60% Hands-on development and design
