Job Description

The successful individual will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Analyse existing finance systems and identify areas for improvement to enhance performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Integration of systems and processes.
  • Data extraction and manipulation (SQL).
  • Implement and test system upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • As hoc analysis and month end duties.
  • Training other individuals on training, best practice and processes.
  • Provide training and support to finance team members on new systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation for future reference.
  • Conduit between finance & IT teams to ensure seamless integration of finance systems with other platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance issues, resolving them promptly.
  • Contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving overall financial processes.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Systems Analyst - Business Improvement should have:

  • A strong understanding of finance systems and their application.
  • Experience dealing with multiple systems, data extraction, and systems integration projects.
  • A background in accounting (CA/CPA qualification).
  • Proven experience in analysing and improving financial processes.
  • Proficiency with relevant finance software and tools.
  • Advanced excel, systems skills (SQL, Power Query).
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience working collaboratively within cross functional teams.
