Title: Senior Python Developer with SDVI Rally (W2-Requirement)

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for SDVI, with strong emphasis on Python programming
• Create and maintain efficient algorithms and data structures for managing video infrastructure resources
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing software systems, providing timely resolutions and enhancements
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and best practices
• Document software designs, implementation details, and troubleshooting procedures

Mandatory Qualifications — Highlighted:

• Strong proficiency in Python — 5+ years developing scalable and efficient software solutions
• Expertise in SDVI Rally — MUST HAVE
• Expertise in CI/CD practices and implementation
• Working experience with Spring Boot and Prometheus
• Practical experience with Amazon Web Services and Grafana
• Experience with containerization — Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of computer networks
• Experience with automatization of unit/functional/integrated tests
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience with MAM and/or CMS — huge plus
• Familiarity with cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of video encoding/transcoding — MPEG-DASH and HLS — plus
• Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
• Effective communication and team collaboration

Education:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
