Job Title: DV Cleared PMO Manager Location: Basingstoke X5 days onsite with hybrid options TBC Duration: Until 31st May with possible extension Rate: Up to £550 per day via an approved umbrella company Must be willing and eligible to go through DV clearance process Are you an experienced leader with a passion for programme governance and delivery? Our client, a reputable organisation supporting critical Defence projects, is hiring for a PMO Manager to oversee their Project Management Office. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to high-stakes programmes. What you'll be doing:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the PMO team
- Provide comprehensive governance, financial, resource, and delivery reports
- Support programme planning, delivery reviews, and assurance activities
- Oversee RAID logs, change, decision, and action registers
- Manage resource planning, forecasting, and financial controls including invoicing and budgeting
- Drive process improvements and standardisation across the programme
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual and organisational standards
- Support large-scale transformation and complex Defence programmes, working within Agile and Waterfall methodologies What you'll bring:

- Proven expertise in governance, assurance, and reporting
- Financial management and forecasting experience
- Risk and issue management proficiency
- Resource planning and management skills

- Organisational skills with a focus on prioritisation
- Adaptability to fast-paced, evolving environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, and reporting tools Ideal background includes:
- Extensive experience within a PMO or programme environment
- Leadership of PMO teams and governance frameworks
- Supporting large, complex Defence or government projects
- Experience with RAID, change control, and contractual governance
