Mechanical Engineer Worcester £36,000 Monday - Friday - 8am-5pm - 1 hour lunch Brief Mechanical Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Worcester who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Mechanical Engineer that takes pride in their work.

The successful candidate would need to come from a strong plumbing background and ideally hold their NVQ Level 3, however the client will also accept candidates with an NVQ Level 2 if you have the years' experience. Daily duties will include - Plumbing, leaking pipework, AHUs, belt changes, filter changes etc.

Benefits Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum<br />24 day's holiday<br />Pension Plan<br />Career Progression What the role entails: Some of the main duties of the Mechanical Engineer will include: Undertake a proactive role in carrying out maintenance, repairs and inspection of mechanical building services.

All in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance<br />Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and associated building services in accordance with the PPM programme and personal competence and training<br />Respond in a timely manner to ad-hoc breakdown requests as identified by supervisor / manager or as a minimum, as per site contract<br />Assist in Carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works<br />Assist in Carrying out systematic fault finding in a logical and safe manner on malfunctioning equipment<br />Take part in on call rota What experience you need to be the successful Mechanical Engineer:

Previously worked within a maintenance environment<br />NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance Services or Equivalent<br />Worked on Mechanical Systems, DHW, LPHW, CHW, Ventilation Systems<br />Previous Pipe Fitting Duties<br />Worked on Steam Systems (desirable)This really is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to progress their career.
