The Role • Provide expert medical care for geriatric patients in inpatient and partial hospitalization settings, holding senior physician responsibility for diagnostics and therapy, considering geriatric multimorbidity. • Supervise geriatric basic and complex assessments, integrating them into individualized treatment plans. • Collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, social services, and case management to ensure comprehensive and continuous patient care. • Guide, supervise, and provide professional support to junior physicians, participating in on-call and ward rounds. • Actively contribute to the development of geriatric treatment concepts, quality assurance, and interfaces with acute care, early rehabilitation, discharge management, and post-inpatient care. What You'll Need • Board certification in Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Trauma Surgery, or another geriatrically relevant specialty; additional specialization in Geriatrics is desirable or to be acquired soon. • Excellent German language skills (minimum C1) and proficiency in using hospital information systems. • Strong expertise in acute geriatric care, early rehabilitation, or internistic-geriatric care of multimorbid, elderly patients. • Proven interdisciplinary communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. • A keen interest in quality management and clinical advancement.
