We're hiring on behalf of a global supply chain leader seeking to add a dedicated Intermodal Equipment Operator to their operations. The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, for loading and unloading shipping containers.
• Safely and efficiently move and position containers within the intermodal yard.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage container movement and task execution.
• Maintain a secure and organized work environment by adhering to established safety protocols.
• Ensure timely and accurate handling of containers to support smooth freight movement.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this position.
• Prior experience operating heavy machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• A strong commitment to safety standards and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, based on union seniority.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
