Job Description

Role : FPGA Design & Validation Engineer (Oil & Gas Systems)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Face‑to‑Face Interview
 

Role Summary: Design and validate rugged FPGA systems for oil & gas applications (downhole, subsea, refinery). Work with VHDL, high‑speed data acquisition, and lab validation under extreme conditions.
 

Key Skills:

  • VHDL, FPGA tools (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, Lattice, Microchip Libero)
  • High‑reliability design (low power, high‑temperature stability)
  • Lab validation: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers
  • Interfaces: Modbus, Ethernet/IP, CAN, ADC/DAC (JESD204B, LVDS)
  • Memory & data integrity (DDR3/4, ECC)
     

Qualifications:

  • B.E./M.S in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation
  • 3+ years FPGA development (industrial automation, subsea, downhole)
