Test Engineer

Test Engineer - Merrifield, VA - Contract - $43-53 Per HR

This role involves conducting tests on automated systems to ensure compliance with business practices and policies. The position is hybrid and contract-based, requiring proficiency in testing systems and technologies. Responsibilities include testing system functions, identifying issues, and ensuring software readiness for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regression and functional tests on new and existing systems.
• Create and edit test cases based on system requirements.
• Identify and document system problems, potential causes, and solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and resolve issues.
• Ensure testing completion and readiness for production implementation.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Experience in testing systems across various platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of project lifecycles and management methodologies.
• Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Technology or equivalent experience.
