CNC Operator

Night Shift position
Monday through Thursday
5 AM until 5 PM
We pay double time for any hours over 50 hours in a week

Veritas Steel, a leader in steel fabrication for bridge and heavy infrastructure projects, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Palatka. This position operates a 3-axis plasma cutting table, supporting high-quality production in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate a CNC plasma cutting table.
• Interpret fabrication drawings and cut lists accurately.
• Monitor machine performance and quality of finished parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Collaborate with production leads to meet daily targets and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably plasma tables.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of steel fabrication practices and tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Commitment to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented workplace.

Compensation details: 21-21.77 Hourly Wage
