Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to join our Finance Team in London for 12-month maternity cover. This role will report in to the Group Financial Controller. The role is in the London part of a global team made up of people from NYC, LA, Berlin and Sydney.
Duties will predominantly consist of:
- Supporting the management accountant with accounts preparation for multiple companies in various currencies
- Cashflow forecasting to include inter-company transfers
- Monthly payroll preparation for the UK entity and administration for overseas entities
- Daily banking updates to Directors
- VAT returns
- Supplier payment runs/payroll runs
- Chasing outstanding debtors, as required, by phone, letter or email
- Processing inter-company transactions for multiple companies in multiple currencies
- Ad-hoc duties as required
- Keep GDPR and data protection in mind in day to day responsibilities
- Strong finance background with experience of all the above
- Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Enthusiasm, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are essential
- Strong accounting and payroll systems such as Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll
