Location: Clinton, NJ (Local NJ Candidates Only)
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week in Clinton, NJ)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (subject to extension)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AWS Data Architect to join a high-impact engagement with a leading client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in data architecture, data engineering, and AWS cloud technologies, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
15+ years of overall IT experience.
6+ years of hands-on experience as an AWS Data Architect.
9+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data platforms and cloud-based data solutions on AWS.
Experience with modern data architecture, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and enterprise data integration.
Ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders, including CTO-level leadership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions on AWS.
Lead data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Define data strategy, governance, and best practices for scalable and secure data platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Architect data ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics frameworks.
Provide technical leadership and guidance across data engineering teams.
Engage with senior stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.
