Apache Flink Developer

We are seeking an Apache Flink Developer to build and optimize real-time data processing solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience with Apache Flink, distributed data processing, event-driven architectures, and cloud or big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time streaming applications using Apache Flink.
• Build scalable and fault-tolerant data pipelines for processing large volumes of data.
• Integrate Apache Flink with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
• Develop stream processing jobs using Java, Scala, or Python.
• Optimize Flink jobs for performance, latency, and resource utilization.
• Implement event-time processing, windowing, state management, and checkpointing.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in streaming applications.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and DevOps teams.
• Deploy and manage Flink applications on Kubernetes, Yarn, or cloud platforms.
• Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Apache Flink.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and stream processing concepts.
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–8+ years of software development or data engineering experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink in production environments.
