Seniority

• 7 - 25 years of experience as a Staff/Senior Software Engineer with full-stack web app development from design through deployment. Minimum 5 years of being a Senior-level engineer

Work experience

• Worked at a tech company where software was the product (high-growth tech startups like Ramp, not non-tech industries like retail banking)
• Experience in high-growth tech startups/companies (VC-backed or FAANG)
• Designing and scaling complex relational DB schemas
• Fintech companies is a plus
  
  

Hard skills

Strong proficiency in TypeScript with clear examples of complex system/products they''ve built hands-on recently on their resume

Scaling high-throughput distributed systems in the cloud with AWS and Terraform

React on the frontend, Node/Express on the backend (running inside Docker), GraphQL/Apollo on both sides, and Postgres as our database.

Familiarity with modern AI product development lifecycles (evals, experiment design, dataset curation, etc).

SRE-oriented mindset (reliable, observable, low-toil infra)

Soft skills

• Keen eye for security risks
• Miscellaneous
• Ability to work remotely within the U.S. time zones.
• Long tenure and progression in roles (2+ years) within the same company
• Active GitHub is a strong plus
• Side projects
