Application Architect Manager

Summary

Translate client needs and challenges into solutions, support envisioning, architectural assessments, technology choice, and estimates in Software Engineering. As an Application Architect, you will design cloud-based solutions, collaborate with product managers and engineers, and drive the roll-out of cloud management platforms. You will oversee a cross-functional team, mentor team members, and recommend changes in development standards. Your role will be pivotal in creating an environment that fosters accountability, quality, and innovation. Together we do what matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate client needs and challenges into effective solutions
• Support envisioning and architectural assessments
• Guide technology choice and provide accurate estimates
• Define and drive the best solutions to meet technical performance needs
• Oversee and manage a cross-functional development team
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members
• Recommend changes in development and system standards
• Develop custom applications in C#/.Net and Microsoft Azure
• Develop integration services and APIs
• Leverage cloud technologies and DevOps practices for solution development
• Create conceptual architecture and solution design materials
• Lead the development of solutions to meet client specifications
• Implement APIs and Microservices, integrating with external systems
• Design databases, data access, and ORMs
• Oversee and manage a cross-functional development team

Skills and experiences

• Develop and enrich the product portfolio of value-added services
• Perform technical planning and architecture development
• Advanced skills in developing client-based and/or web-based software solutions
• Experience with specific technologies as specified by hiring manager
• Design and develop IT architecture solutions to business problems
• Assess compatibility and integration of proposed products/services
• Drive the roll-out of cloud management platforms and evaluate performance
• Advanced expertise in C# / .Net
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI
• Proficient in RESTful services, Microservices, ASP.Net Core
• Experience with Azure Compute, Storage, and PaaS services
• Skilled in SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Entity Framework
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes / AKS
• Knowledge of Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere
• Proficient in Git, Azure DevOps, Maven, Jenkins
