We are seeking a new talent to join the Software Engineering team where you will have the opportunity to collaborate in the project- 6 months. The client is a company specializing in the manufacturing and marketing of home appliances and related products worldwide.

Responsibilities:

 

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications.

You will use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
Expert proficiency in CakePHP is required. Expert proficiency in Software Engineering is recommended.

Advanced proficiency in Custom Application Development and Software Design & Solutions is suggested.

Drive the design and implementation of innovative software components that meet evolving business requirements.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.

Analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective, scalable solutions to enhance system performance.

Support and guide team members by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.

Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to elevate quality and efficiency across projects.

 

Required Skills

• Strong experience developing applications using CakePHP (Expert Level).
• Strong knowledge of PHP 7/8.
• Experience with MVC Architecture.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with application performance optimization.
