AWS Java Full stack Developer
6 Month contract initially + Extensions
Based: Hybrid - Max 2 days p/w onsite in London. Can also work from Edinburgh.
Rate - £375 - £425 p/d via Umbrella

We have a great opportunity with a world leading organisation where you will be provided with all of the support and development to succeed. A progressive organisation where you can really make a difference. We have a great opportunity for a number of AWS Java Full stack Developer's on a long term program of work.

Key Responsibilities:
* Refactor and modernize on-premise Java & Angular applications into AWS cloud-native microservices.
* Deploy and manage applications on AWS services such as EKS/ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins/GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes.
* Support Agile delivery, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production releases.

Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience in Java 11+/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
* Hands-on expertise in Angular
* Experience with AWS services including EKS/ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
* Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins/GitLab, and DevOps practices.
* Proven experience in application migration, refactoring, deployment automation, and banking domain projects.
