Project Manager – Flooring Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum<br />Location: London – Site Based Job Type: Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join an established and growing commercial flooring company, managing flooring projects across London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in commercial flooring and construction who is looking to take responsibility for projects from pre-start through to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, installers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities Manage flooring projects from pre-start through to completion and handover.<br />Review project specifications, drawings, programmes and scope of works.<br />Coordinate installers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and site resources.<br />Ensure the correct labour and materials are available when required.<br />Monitor project programmes, progress, costs and deadlines.<br />Attend pre-start, design and regular project/site meetings.<br />Carry out regular site inspections and pre-installation surveys.<br />Liaise with clients and contractors, providing regular project updates.<br />Manage snagging and ensure works are completed to the required standard.<br />Monitor labour hours, job sheets, deliveries and project costs.<br />Work closely with the commercial/QS team to maintain cost control.<br />Ensure all health &amp; safety requirements, RAMS, permits and site procedures are followed.<br />Keep project systems and documentation up to date.<br />Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme, cost or quality.<br />Support and coordinate Assistant Project Managers where required.

Requirements Proven experience as a Project Manager within the flooring industry.<br />Strong knowledge of commercial flooring installations and construction processes.<br />Experience managing projects from start to finish.<br />Minimum Gold CSCS Card – essential.<br />Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.<br />Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.<br />Ability to manage installers, subcontractors and suppliers.<br />Strong client-facing and problem-solving skills.<br />Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.<br />Relevant flooring/construction experience and qualifications.<br />Full UK driving licence desirable.
