Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in on-premise container and messaging platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and supporting Kubernetes/OpenShift environments and Kafka infrastructure in an on-premise environment.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift
• Strong experience with Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience working with on-premise Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
• Experience with containerized application deployments and orchestration
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
• Experience with Kafka administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift networking, deployments, pods, services, and configurations
• Ability to work in enterprise production environments

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters in an on-premise environment.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications.
• Manage and support Kafka clusters, topics, brokers, consumers, and producers.
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues across Kubernetes/OpenShift and Kafka environments.
• Perform production support, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
• Work with development and infrastructure teams to support application deployments.
• Ensure platform availability, stability, and performance.
• Follow enterprise security, operational, and deployment standards.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Experience with on-premise infrastructure
• Strong production support and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Candidates must be available for a 100% remote position.
