IT Program Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW: The IT Program Manager independently leads IT projects and moderately complex programs from planning through delivery, partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners to manage scope, timelines, risks, readiness, and outcomes.

• Leads projects or moderately complex programs independently from planning through delivery and stabilization, with accountability for execution, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and delivery outcomes within approved scope.
• Develops and manages project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and communication plans.
• Partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners to align on priorities and delivery expectations.
• Facilitates governance routines, project meetings, status reporting, and escalation discussions to maintain transparency and accountability.
• Tracks progress against approved plans and proactively manages risks, issues, and trade-offs before they impact delivery outcomes.
• Coordinates business readiness, testing (ie. SIT, UAT), training, communication, go-live preparation, and post-launch stabilization activities.
• Supports vendor and system integrator management by tracking deliverables, issues, timelines, and SOW commitments.
• Contributes to PMO process improvements, lessons learned, and delivery standards.

WHAT YOU LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Experience leading IT projects, technology implementations, business process improvements, or enterprise application initiatives, especially platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or comparable business systems.
• Strong working knowledge of project management method, including planning, scheduling, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear delivery plans, milestones, and measurable success criteria.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project/program management tools; Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery experience preferred.
