Job Description
* Collaborate with network architects to develop and maintain STIG-compliant configuration baselines, version control, and compliance tracking processes.
* Support system performance optimization, continuous service improvement initiatives, incident escalation, problem management, and root cause analysis activities.
* Create and maintain Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs), SOPs, and TTPs while supporting operational readiness for new engineering solutions.
* Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, IPS devices, load balancers, and WAN technologies.
Required Qualifications for the Network Systems Administrator include: * 4+ years of experience engineering, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise networks with routing and switching technologies.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, firewall/security devices, MPLS, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, VLANs, VoIP, Multicast, and related network technologies.
* Strong understanding of defense-in-depth principles, network security architecture, IP addressing/subnetting, technical documentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
* Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Active TS/SCI Security Clearance and Security+ (or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification within a designated timeframe after hire).
Compensation for the Network Systems Administrator include: * Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 a year depending on experience
