Job Title: Software Development Program Manager

Location-Remote

Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Development Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and drive software development programs from initiation through delivery. The role will work closely with engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the expected quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple software development projects and initiatives.
  • Define program scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
  • Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall program health.
  • Facilitate project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder updates.
  • Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and delivery blockers.
  • Manage program schedules, priorities, and resource requirements.
  • Maintain program documentation, status reports, and dashboards.
  • Support Agile/Scrum processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure software releases and deliverables meet quality and business requirements.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and escalations to senior management.
  • Coordinate release planning and production deployment activities.
  • Drive process improvements to improve development efficiency and delivery predictability.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience managing multiple projects or cross-functional technology programs.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
