RF Systems Engineer Level 3 - Onsite, San Diego, CA [About the Role] Join a dynamic engineering team as an RF Systems Engineer Level 3, working on mission-critical defense solutions in San Diego. Leverage your expertise in RF systems, system integration, and verification to drive innovation and ensure project success. This onsite role offers direct involvement in the full product lifecycle, from concept through operation and disposal, within a highly collaborative and secure environment. [Responsibilities] - Lead technical planning, system integration, and verification & validation activities for advanced RF systems.
- Analyze and manage cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness across total systems.
- Execute systems engineering analyses at every phase: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
- Systematically convert customer or product requirements into comprehensive hardware and software solutions.
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.
- Translate complex requirements into actionable engineering specifications. [Required Skills and Experience] - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 5 years of relevant experience, Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
- Demonstrated experience in RF systems, system integration, requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, and verification & validation.
- Strong background in system lifecycle management: design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (required). [Preferred Skills] - Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
