Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support technology projects across the Infrastructure Services organization. This resource will work across Networking, Server, Workstation Services, Microsoft 365/O365, VoIP/Telecommunications, and Service Center teams.

The BSA will serve as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders, gathering and analyzing requirements, evaluating current processes and systems, developing technical requirements, supporting solution design, and assisting with testing and implementation of technology solutions.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes ownership of assignments, can independently manage multiple active projects, and possesses strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Interview project stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, systems, and challenges.
• Analyze current-state business processes and technology systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop technical requirements and assist with solution design.
• Support testing, implementation, and validation of technology solutions.
• Conduct research and evaluate potential technology solutions.
• Perform data analysis as needed to support project decisions.
• Develop procedures and process improvements for existing systems and services.
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing user support.
• Prepare Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Contract Scope of Deliverables.
• Manage multiple active projects and assignments while maintaining priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, technical, business, and end-user stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of Business Analyst / Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Strong experience with the Microsoft 365 Productivity Suite.
• Demonstrated experience supporting IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience working across areas such as networking, servers, workstations, M365/O365, telecommunications/VoIP, or service center environments.
• Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder interview skills.
• Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize work across multiple active projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of project assignments.

Preferred / Value-Add Experience

• Experience writing RFPs, SOWs, or Contract Scope of Deliverables.
• Experience with infrastructure transformation or implementation projects.
• Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Experience with process improvement and current-state/future-state analysis.
• Experience with testing/UAT and technology implementations.
• Government, municipal, or other highly structured enterprise IT experience.
