We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with a strong background in large-scale data analysis, SQL, data mapping, and the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain. This role is ideal for professionals who can bridge the gap between business and technology by translating complex business requirements into high-quality data solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in SQL, Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM), data transformation, and insurance policy and claims data, while collaborating with business stakeholders, SMEs, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end data analysis including data profiling, validation, transformation, and reconciliation for enterprise data initiatives.

• Develop comprehensive Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents based on business and technical requirements.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while translating them into functional and technical specifications.

• Partner with Data Engineers and Developers to implement data consolidation, transformation, and standardization solutions.

• Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries to support data validation and business reporting.

• Conduct data quality assessments and recommend data cleansing and enrichment strategies.

• Apply deep knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance, including policy administration and claims lifecycle, to ensure business data accuracy.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, data modelers, architects, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare clear technical documentation, mapping documents, process flows, and business artifacts.

• Support enterprise data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives while ensuring data integrity and consistency.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Mapping, and Data Transformation within enterprise environments.

• Strong proficiency in SQL including analytical functions, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• Proven experience developing Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documentation.

• Strong understanding of ETL processes and enterprise data flows.

• Experience with data consolidation, standardization, transformation, and integration across multiple data sources.

• In-depth knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including policy administration and claims data.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.

• Strong documentation skills with experience creating technical and business deliverables.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business users, and subject matter experts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse or cloud data migration initiatives.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Experience working with Data Engineers, Data Architects, and QA teams in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
