Salt is proud to partner with a global leading Software Brand to recruit an experienced Software License Advisory Consultant to join their ANZ Customer Experience business.
This is a unique opportunity for a software licensing professional who thrives on solving complex commercial challenges, building trusted customer relationships and turning licensing insights into strategic business outcomes. You will play a pivotal role helping enterprise customers optimise their software investments while driving compliance, reducing risk and identifying revenue growth opportunities.
Responsibilities- Advise enterprise customers on software licensing compliance and optimisation.
- Analyse licensing and usage data to identify compliance risks and commercial opportunities.
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to convert compliance events into revenue growth.
- Lead consultative discussions with C-suite, IT and Procurement stakeholders.
- Deliver licensing education and strategic advisory services.
- Produce insightful reporting and recommendations using licensing and usage data.
- Help shape best practice licensing framework across ANZ.
- 5+ years' experience in Software Licensing, License Compliance, Software Asset Management (SAM) or Enterprise Software Consulting.
- Ideal candidates would come from a software company or a software consultancy, with roles such as Software Licensing Consultant, Software Asset Management Consultant, License Compliance Manager, Enterprise Renewals Manager, Software Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Licenses Specialist, or Engineers.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models, contracts and compliance methodologies.
- Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex commercial conversations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience identifying opportunities that improve customer outcomes while supporting revenue growth.
- 12-month contract (maximum term) with possibility of extension.
- Salary: $190-197K + super (full-time contract entitlements).
