- The Opportunity: CACI is seeking an accomplished Business Development Executive with extensive knowledge and experience in identifying and qualifying Intelligence Community (IC) opportunities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in CACI's growth strategy within a high-value, rapidly evolving sector of defense IT services. The successful candidate will have the chance to significantly impact both CACI's business success and the modernization of the intelligence community's IT footprint. Success in this role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional who can navigate complex defense IT landscapes, build strong customer relationships, and drive significant business growth. The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate a proven track record of expanding existing contracts and securing new opportunities within the IC.
- Be responsible for identifying and winning new business and on-contract growth awards ranging from $100M to $1B annually.
- Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Business Development to craft and implement a comprehensive Campaign Strategy, focusing on positioning CACI for new business contracts and meeting on-contract growth targets.
- Have a deep understanding of current IC programs, especially within the NSA
- Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
- Have excellent communication skills to articulate CACI's value proposition to potential clients and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and potential opportunities within the IC. This position is expected to be near the Maryland Procurement Office (MPO) and can expect to spend up to 50% of your time on business travel.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline Development and Management - Build and maintain a robust, qualified pipeline of opportunities within the DoD EIT market, focusing specifically on IC programs. Align pipeline opportunities with EIT Line of Business (LoB) strategic growth vision within CACI's overall market space.
- Strategic Go-to-Market Planning - Develop, manage, and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the IC. Articulate and generate consensus on strategic vision, action plans, competitive intelligence, investments, and business cases.
- Customer Engagement and Opportunity Shaping - Proactively engage with customers to identify and shape opportunities. Provide filtered, actionable intelligence to Business Group, Business Development, and functional group staff.
- Brand Promotion and Opportunity Shaping - Elevate CACI's brand presence through targeted marketing initiatives. Lead the creation of white papers, in-house demonstrations, and responses to RFIs. Conceptualize needs, organize appropriate company resources, and spearhead collaborative efforts to completion.
- Capture and Proposal Support - Provide continuity across the BD lifecycle by supporting capture and proposal efforts. Enhance win probability by ensuring seamless transition of opportunities from qualification through capture and proposal stages.
- Market Intelligence and Trend Analysis - Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes within the IC ecosystem. Provide regular insights to leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Work closely with technical, operational, and financial teams to ensure alignment of BD efforts with company capabilities and goals. Foster strong relationships across the organization to facilitate efficient and effective pursuit of opportunities.
Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- 10+ years associated with IC-related experience
- Demonstrated Expertise in IT Transformation and Modernization:
- Extensive experience leading large-scale IT support opportunities
- In-depth knowledge of "as-a-service" delivery models and their implementation.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
