Job Description

Meet Unit4. With over 40 years of heritage, we're an agile, fast growing Cloud company on a mission to redefine ERP for people centric organisations.

Right now we're modernising our U4F by Coda software putting the latest AI directly into our customers' hands, so their people spend less time on admin and more time on what matters.

At the heart of what we do is a simple purpose: improve how people work by focusing on what truly matters, whatever that looks like for each customer.

We back our people with the right tools and the autonomy to make that happen. It's what makes us unique.

Read more on our website about how we transform work and how people feel about it, so our customers and their people can thrive.

Job Purpose

As our Senior Performance & Optimisation Consultant, you'll proactively help customers improve business performance, adoption and value realisation across their full journey with U4F by Coda.

Working pre and post go live, you'll spot performance risks and optimisation opportunities early, combining SaaS expertise, process thinking, data insight and hands on AI experience to help customers get more value from Unit4.

You'll work alongside a Support Specialist and a Database Administrator, giving customers a proactive performance and optimisation capability.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Run proactive performance reviews and customer health checks across implementation, transition and live service.
  • Assess pre go live readiness across business process, adoption, data and productivity.
  • Spot performance risks and improvement opportunities before they become escalations.
  • Set baselines and success criteria tied to adoption and value realisation goals.
  • Analyse post go live adoption and process data to recommend clear, actionable improvements.
  • Advise customers on practical ways to use AI to automate work and boost productivity.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Consulting, Support, Managed Services and Product to drive measurable outcomes.
  • Build repeatable playbooks and templates, and track the impact of your work.

Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years in business consulting, operational excellence, customer success, performance optimisation, or SaaS/ERP consulting.
  • Strong SaaS expertise: adoption, value realisation, retention and customer health.
  • A track record of improving customer business processes and outcomes.
  • Practical experience using AI to automate work and drive measurable results.
  • Strong stakeholder management, including influencing senior leaders and customer executives.

Required Tools and Technology

  • Microsoft 365, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Power BI or equivalent for reporting and data visualisation.
  • Hands on use of AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience with ERP, HCM, FP&A or adjacent SaaS platforms.

Required Skills

  • A flair for customer lifecycle thinking: driving adoption, value realisation and long term customer health.
  • Business process optimisation, with an eye for turning clunky workflows into slick ones.
  • AI enabled productivity improvement and a sharp instinct for spotting automation opportunities.
  • Data storytelling: turning numbers into insight people actually act on.
  • Change management savvy and the confidence to advise customers as a trusted partner.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience in Business, Technology, Finance, Analytics or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (SaaS customer success, process improvement, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.

Team Context

  • One of three in the U4F by Coda team, alongside a Support Specialist and a Database Administrator.
  • Together you deliver proactive performance and technical support before and after go live.
  • You'll act as an advisory partner, not a reactive support escalation point.

Who we are

We're a people first community, and you'll be surrounded by a high performing team that supports your authentic self.

Work is about more than tasks, it's about feeling valued, empowered and seen. We're reimagining how work makes people feel.

What we offer

  • Trust and autonomy to do your best work.
  • Real balance: Flexible Leave Paid Time Off, remote working and Global Wellbeing Days.
  • Growth that's genuinely invested in, with the tools and guidance to focus on what matters.
  • Talented colleagues, role models and mentors to learn from.
  • A real commitment to sustainability, including our ESG work and the Act4Good programme.
  • A safe, inclusive environment backed by Employee Resource Groups open to all.

Our commitment to equity

Unit4 hires based on skills, qualifications and business need. Diversity brings fresh perspectives, ideas and solutions, and that's core to who we are. We welcome applications from people who are pregnant or planning a family.

Background check

This role may require security clearance and access to sensitive customer data. If we make an offer, we may run background checks, which can include criminal record declaration, right to work, ID verification and work history, always handled in line with local privacy laws.
