Infor LN / Baan Finance Consultant

job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infor LN / Baan Finance Consultant to join an enterprise delivery team supporting complex ERP integration and core finance transformations. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing functional specifications, managing data loads, and configuring multi-company accounting operations across Infor and third-party systems.

responsibilities:

• Design and document Functional Specifications, test plans, and data migration setups for finance modules.
• Configure and support General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Costing, and trial balance procedures.
• Manage ERP interfaces for issues, receipts, adjustment journals, and invoice workflows using Infor ION tools.
• Collaborate closely with business leads and technical consultants to ensure seamless execution and financial period closures.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree / 4-year college education required.

5+ years of experience working with Infor LN or BaaN systems.

Hands-on functional and technical knowledge of Infor LN 10.6+, Baan4c4, or Infor CloudSuite Automotive (ICS).

Practical experience with Infor ION integration, including BODs, BDEs, and XML interface structures.

Deep functional understanding of multi-company accounting, GL, AP, AR, and financial period-end closures.

Ability to work onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) in Lisle, IL.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the Automotive manufacturing industry.

Educational background in Accounting or Finance.

Knowledge of EDI standards and Electronic Invoicing frameworks.
