Multi-Family Construction Estimator

In this Multi-Family Construction Estimator opportunity in Virginia Beach, you’ll help shape project planning and pricing with a collaborative team that values integrity, long-term value, and execution. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Multi-Family Construction Estimatorposition include: Minimum 3–5 years of estimating experience in multi-family or residential construction.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine project requirements. Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Develop and maintain cost databases and historical pricing information. Identify potential cost risks and recommend value-engineering options when appropriate. Proficiency with estimating software, Microsoft Office (Excel required), and Bluebeam/CAD; Microsoft Project experience.

Support preconstruction activities including budgeting, bid packages, RFPs, MEP documents/submittals, purchase order workflows, and turnover to construction teams.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
