The Role
- Lead Human Factors (HF) integration across the full lifecycle, from concept to in-service support.
- Manage and support the HF Integration Management System across key product areas, including the Edgewing core platform.
- Collaborate closely with HF product leads to ensure seamless integration and alignment with program goals.
- Lead and mentor the team, fostering growth while driving high standards and consistency in HF integration.
- Tailor HF approaches to meet project priorities, effectively balancing time, cost, and resources.
- Interface with customers, partners, and regulators in relevant forums.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant human science or Human Factors discipline, or equivalent knowledge.
- Chartership or senior/full/accredited membership with a professional body (e.g., CIEHF, SIE, JES), or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Experience in the defence and/or aviation sectors to ensure best practices and compliance.
- Ability to manage and mentor a team of specialists.
- Strong understanding of HF integration principles and their application in complex projects.
- Experience interfacing with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
