The Role

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical software, hardware, and network problem resolution for end-users.
• Diagnose and guide users through step-by-step solutions.
• Analyze routine situations using automated information systems and review incoming requests to prioritize tasks.
• Independently resolve problems or collaborate with teammates, escalating to the next tier as necessary.
• Support users by fulfilling requests for information and training on database utilization.
• Instruct users on the use of PCs and networks.

What You'll Need

• High school education or equivalent with 1-3 years of general experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum of 6 months of tenure with the NMCI Service Desk.
• Three months or more experience supporting NNPI and/or SIPR in a Tier 1 role.
• CompTIA Security+ CE certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerShell.
• Ability to attain Flank Speed Tier 1.5 qualification within 30 days.
