A fast-growing, highly regulated manufacturing business based in Park Royal, North West London is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead and evolve its safety strategy.
With around 360 employees and recent investment into a new suite of cleanrooms, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of growth.
Operating in one of the UK’s most tightly controlled, MHRA‑audited environments, this role offers the opportunity to build on existing foundations, bring structure to developing systems, and shape a proactive, high‑impact safety culture in a fast-paced, delivery-focused setting.
The HSE Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a cohesive HSE strategy, bringing together existing systems and creating a consistent, robust framework across the site.
- Leading the review and standardisation of risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring best practice in a high hygiene, tightly regulated environment.
- Driving cultural change by increasing individual ownership of health and safety, influencing stakeholders at all levels in a collaborative, low hierarchy environment.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with UK legislation and regulatory expectations, while supporting audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The HSE Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a senior HSE role within a highly regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, sterile/aseptic manufacturing, or similar high-control industries
- Strong technical knowledge of health & safety legislation, with a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to operate as a credible subject matter expert
- A track record of improving systems, embedding structure, and delivering cultural change in fast-paced, operationally driven environments
- Excellent influencing and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility, work cross-functionally, and succeed without relying on a command-and-control approach
