Full-time permanent position
4-on 4-off continental shift pattern of days and nights: Days: 6am to 6pm
Nights: 6pm to 6am
£47,288.80 per annum
Opportunities for training and professional developmentAs a Mechanical Engineer, your duties will include: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems, machinery and production lines
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults to minimise downtime
Maintaining conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics and other mechanical components
Supporting the installation and commissioning of new and upgraded equipment
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and collaborating with production and electrical teams to improve equipment reliabilityTo be considered as a Mechanical Engineer, you will need: SVQ3 and HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience in an industrial or food processing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and industrial machinery
Experience with preventive maintenance programmes and CMMS
