Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect - OT Device Management for IoT with 12+ years of overall IT experience and 4+ years in a dedicated Solution/Technical Architect role.

The architect will own the end-to-end solution vision, architecture, and technical governance for large-scale enterprise engagements. This role requires a combination of deep technical expertise, strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized solutions across IoT, OT, cloud, infrastructure, integration, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical point of contact for the customer while working closely with offshore delivery teams to ensure successful architecture, implementation, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical point of contact at the customer location, owning end-to-end solution architecture and alignment with business objectives.

Design and architect OT Device Management and IoT solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.

Engage directly with customer stakeholders, business owners, and enterprise architects to gather, challenge, and refine requirements and success criteria.

Lead architecture workshops, technical discussions, design sessions, and solution presentations.

Evaluate solution alternatives and drive architecture decisions based on scalability, security, performance, reliability, and cost.

Develop technical roadmaps, architecture strategies, proposals, and transformation/modernization plans.

Translate business requirements into high-level and low-level architecture designs, clearly communicating design decisions, trade-offs, dependencies, and technical impacts.

Serve as the bridge between customer stakeholders and offshore delivery teams, ensuring clear technical direction, priorities, and architectural standards.

Own technical governance at the client site, including architecture reviews, design approvals, standards enforcement, and technical risk management.

Identify and resolve critical architecture, infrastructure, integration, security, and IoT/OT technical issues.

Support presales, solutioning, estimation, proposals, and account-growth initiatives.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across network, security, data, application, infrastructure, cloud, and IoT/OT.

Provide regular status updates, technical risks, mitigation plans, and escalation management to customer and Wipro leadership.

Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and governance standards.

Required Technical Skills

12+ years of overall IT experience.

4+ years of experience in a dedicated Solution Architect or Technical Architect role.

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with OT Device Management for IoT.

Proven experience architecting IoT/OT platforms, device management solutions, and enterprise-scale distributed systems.

Experience designing highly available, secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across:

AWS

Azure

Google Cloud Platform

On-premises environments

Hybrid cloud environments

Strong understanding of:

OT/IoT architectures

Device lifecycle management

Device provisioning and configuration

Device monitoring and management

IoT connectivity and communication

Edge/OT environments

Enterprise IoT integrations

Strong grounding in application, integration, data, network, security, and infrastructure architecture.

Experience with modern architecture patterns including:

Microservices

REST APIs

Event-driven architecture

Containers

Kubernetes

DevOps

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Experience creating architecture artifacts including:

HLD / LLD

Solution blueprints

Reference architectures

Non-functional requirements

Technology selection documents

Ability to conduct technical due diligence, effort estimation, risk assessment, capacity planning, and trade-off analysis.

Strong understanding of enterprise security, compliance, governance, and architecture frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

BE / B.Tech / MCA preferred.

Architecture certifications such as:

TOGAF

Other relevant platform-specific certifications
