Sr Workday Project Manager

Role: Workday Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Workday Go-Live & Post Go-Live Support

Location: Remote

Duration: 9+ month

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead the go-live and post-go-live support phases of a Workday implementation. This role requires strong command-center leadership, cross-domain coordination, and executive-level communication to ensure a smooth transition into production and sustained stability after launch.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the Workday go-live process, including all follow-up post-go-live activities
• Run the go-live command center: staffing, meals, logistics, documentation, and communications
• Partner with the ServiceNow team to design go-live trouble ticket content, categorization, and workflow within SN
• Collaborate with domain leads across Sourcing, HR, Finance, Materials, and other functional areas to define support roles and SME coverage for post-go-live issues and questions
• Stand up post-go-live governance structures, including a Steering Committee, to manage status reporting and issue resolution
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership throughout the stabilization period

Requirements

• Solid working knowledge of Workday structure and functionality
• Proven experience managing large-scale ERP/HCM go-lives, ideally within a command-center model
• Experience working with ServiceNow (or similar ITSM platforms) for issue tracking and workflow design
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business domains (HR, Finance, Materials, Sourcing, etc.)
• Experience establishing governance frameworks and steering committees for post-launch support
• Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable operating in high-visibility, fast-paced environments during critical go-live windows

Ideal Candidate Profile

A seasoned PM or Senior PM who has led at least one full-cycle Workday (or comparable ERP) go-live from cutover through stabilization, and who is equally comfortable running logistics on the ground and presenting status to executive stakeholders.
