Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate requirement-gathering workshops with non-technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
Database Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access.
Attention to Detail:
- Precision in documenting technical steps and data integrity checks.
Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze data structures, mappings, and migration scripts.
Adaptability:
- Be open to solutions and flexible in changes.
Strong technical writing:
- Ability to produce architecture diagrams, structured user stories, and formal requirement specifications.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Teams:
- Work closely with database administrators, developers, and IT support to gather technical requirements, verify data mappings, and ensure accuracy.
Maintain Documentation Repositories:
- Update and organize documentation in a centralized system, ensuring it remains current after migration.
Review and Edit:
- Proofread and edit all technical content for clarity, consistency, and correctness.
- Monitor migration outcomes, update documentation as needed, and address user feedback.
Document Migration Process:
- Write step-by-step guides, checklists, and troubleshooting tips for moving Access databases to the new system.
