SEN / SEND Tutor | Horsham, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are hiring for an impact-driven organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We partner with schools and local authorities to provide essential support, fostering a community committed to positive change and innovative educational approaches.

The Role

• Provide tailored tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring, adapting to the needs of KS1-KS5 students.
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons, reporting on pupil progress and providing regular feedback.
• Work collaboratively with schools and local authorities to support vulnerable learners.
• Contribute to a mission of raising the standard of education for young people with diverse learning difficulties.
• Offer a mix of in-person, remote, and hybrid tutoring sessions.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and creating secure learning environments.
• Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided if needed) and professional references.
• Right to work in the UK.
