The Role • Conduct comprehensive speech and language therapy, including diagnosis and treatment of patients with aphasia, dysarthria, voice disorders, and dysphagia. • Develop individualized treatment plans, meticulously document patient progress, and prepare detailed therapeutic reports. • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy professionals to ensure integrated patient care. • Provide expert consultations to patients and their families regarding speech, voice, and swallowing issues. • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences, continuous professional development, and on-call duties including weekends and holidays. What You'll Need • A completed degree or certification in Speech Therapy or a related field. • Experience or willingness to train in tracheostomy tube management and intensive care settings. • Openness to new developments in the field, including training in videofluoroscopy and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing. • Independent, structured, and responsible work ethic, complemented by strong teamwork skills. • Empathy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with diverse patient age groups.
