Payroll Manager

Our client, a prominent organisation in the defence & technology sectors, is seeking a skilled Payroll Manager on a four-month contract basis. This role is essential for maintaining accurate payroll operations and ensuring seamless communication with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Using Dayforce as the payroll provider to process payroll
• Liaising with the Finance and People Director to ensure accurate data collection and reporting
• Handling payroll transactions and resolving any technical issues that may arise
• Providing cover for upcoming absence within the payroll team
• Understanding and administering the rewards platform (Benifex)
• Conducting payroll operations through SFPT and addressing occasional technical problems
• Ensuring timely and accurate payroll submissions

Job Requirements:

• Experience in managing payroll operations in various industries
• Strong background in finance and payroll processes
• Familiarity with Dayforce payroll system
• Understanding of rewards platforms, specifically Benifex
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data
• Proficient in addressing technical issues and ensuring smooth payroll processing
