Whether you're a trainee just starting out or an experienced professional looking for a change, we welcome your application - with full confidentiality guaranteed throughout the process.The successful candidate will receive extensive in-house training and one on one mentoring as part of your career development plan:Advanced Life Support First Aid course.In house systems, equipment, and role specific technical training.One-on-one mentoring.Salary and role level tailored to your experienceHigh potential for international travel to remote Pacific IslandsWhat the Role InvolvesThis is a diverse and challenging role focused on the design, build, assembly, and configuration of environmental monitoring systems, supplied to ALS offices across Australia and directly to external clients - all with the support of a dedicated mentor.Day-to-day responsibilities may include:Design, manufacture, and testing of automated monitoring systemsWiring, soldering, and assembly of terminals and 12V control panelsProducing and maintaining technical documentationProviding technical support to field staff, project teams, and clientsGeneral technical and administrative dutiesProject management and procurementOverseas travel for field installation of monitoring stations (for the right candidate)What We're Looking ForWe're open to candidates at a trainee to intermediate experience level.
