QA, Manual for Automation Project

• Required: Minimum 8 years experience as a QA Analyst.
• PREFERRED: Minimum 4 years of recent experience testing AS400 Applications with up-to-date system knowledge.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Preferred: QA/QC Certification or equivalent.

Platforms/Technical:

• [Mandatory] Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), or another similar tool like HP Quality Center, JIRA, etc.
• [Mandatory] Testing experience in testing web-based applications, middleware, back-end jobs.
• [PREFERRED] Hands-on Experience in testing AS400 applications.
• [Mandatory] Working knowledge of RESTAPI required (API testing, Console APP testing).
• [Mandatory] Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
• [Preferrable] Experience working in healthcare projects.

Requirements:

• Understands Agile & Waterfall methodologies.
• Participates in all team ceremonies (daily standups, grooming, etc.) and provides clear status updates.
• Collaborates effectively with QA Analysts, Developers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, and QA leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contributes to test planning & estimation activities.
• Analyzes functional requirements and other available documentation/information provided to write test conditions, scenarios & leading high-level Test Scenarios review with team.
• Writes clear, wellstructured test cases with expected results, using shared steps and parameters where applicable. Maintains traceability to functional requirements.
• Executes functional, integration, system, and regression testing, documenting results and timelines.
• Documents and effectively communicate issues found during test execution in a timely manner. Verifies defect fixes through to closure.
• Communicates impediments in a timely and professional manner.
• Produces test documentation, including Test Plans and Test Summaries.
• Assists in analyzing customer-reported issues to improve QA coverage.
• Adheres to company TCoP (Testing Community of Practice) standards for metrics and positive project outcomes.
• Willing to crosstrain on additional applications to support other teams as needed.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Shows initiative in learning new products and processes.
• Troubleshooting solutions.
